Terroir
The owner named this estate of 67ha after his son. 35ha are planted with AOC vines. It is on the edge of the ancient town of Nîmes. Terra Vitis certified. The soils are highly typical of the appellation with large smooth stones from alluvial deposits from the Rhone and Durance rivers on a clay-limestone subsoil.
Grapes varieties
70 % Grenache, 30% Syrah
Winemaking
The grapes are harvest at optimal maturity and always destemmed. After a cold maceration to obtain the good colour intensity, the liquid is racked from the tank. The alcohol fermentation begins after a cold settling on control temperature in order to favour the fruit expression.
Tasting notes
This rose presents a bright pink colour, a pleasant and complexe nose with floral and fruity notes. The fruit drop character testifies to a good vinification. The mouth is round and delicate. Enjoy with piece of grilled meat, exotic meal. Serve at around 8°c.
