Details of the wine
Terroir
The soils are very typical of the appellation with large smooth rolled stones from alluvial deposits from the Rhone and Durance rivers. In summer they heat up during the day and give back warmness during the night. The red clay gives Costières land a coppery tinge and retains the heavy seasonal rains in the underground which irrigates over the year .
Grapes varieties
The varietals are typical of the appellation : 67% Syrah and 33% Grenache.
Winemaking
Thermovinification: grapes are destemmed and heated. This method allows to extract the flavors and get a very aromatic profile.
