Terroir
The soils are highly typical of the appellation Costières de Nimes with large smooth stones from alluvial deposits from the Rhone and Durance rivers on a clay-limestone subsoil.
Grapes varieties
80% Syrah. 20% Grenache.
Winemaking
Selection of vines with low yields. Harvest 100% destemmed. Maceration lasts 20 days with daily pumping over and delestage.
Tasting notes
A lovely deep glowing red, this wine has powerful aromas of violet, red fruit and bay. The mouth is full and fruity with a balanced and softened finish. Goes well with white meat and barbecues. Serve at around 18°C.
Ageing Potential
Can be enjoyed now but can be kept for 2-3 years.
