Terroir
This wine comes from vines grown on terraces above the Rhone. Mix of different terroir, some of them have pebbly soil. Output per hectare: 50hl.
Grapes varieties
52% Syrah & 48% Grenache.
Winemaking
After a parcel selection of the vinyard, the grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe then destemmed and trod. Long maceration in stainless steel vats under temperatures control (for 1 month approximatety) and careful extraction of color and structure.
Tasting notes
Elegant and complex, the mouth is pleasant and round. Highly structured it has an excellent balance of alcohol and tannins. Accompaniment Advice: Red meat, cheese.
Ageing Potential
Ready to drink now, but will keep for 2 to 3 years.
